My Background

I am an experienced, certified pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in private practice with expertise in the treatment of expressive, receptive and pragmatic language disorders, phonological and articulation disorders.

I see clients in their homes (or in schools, day care centers or preschools with permission from the school). I work in Newton, MA and surrounding towns.

I love the creativity and challenge of finding ways to make therapy both enjoyable and effective. I want children to leave each therapy session feeling excited about what they can do, not defeated by what they cannot. 

​

I have an M.A from Tufts University in Child Development and an M.S from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Communication Sciences and Disorders.  Prior to beginning a private practice, I worked as an SLP in public elementary schools and at a preschool for children who were deaf or hard of hearing.

On a personal level, I am married with 3 grown children.
